CHRISTMAS CANTATA
Come let us sing for joy to the Lord. (Psalm 95:1a). The joyful Christmas season is quickly approaching. Through singing we can share the real reason for the season. Please prayerfully consider being a part of our Cantata choir to share the jubilant message of God's gift to us.

WELCA CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX PROJECT
The women of the church are collecting items to put together shoeboxes. Please help us by picking up some items while out shopping and placing them in the donation box in the breezeway between the church and fellowship hall. You can find a list of boy/girl items in the narthex and the breezeway. The deadline to donate items for this project is October 26th.

New Member Ice Cream Social on Sunday, September 14th at 3:00 pm.
We invite all current middle and high school students to join us as we welcome our newest members!
Parents are also invited to join us as we go over plans for the upcoming year.
FROM THE FINANCE COMMITTEE
We will meet to begin budget preparation on Tuesday, September 16th at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to attend. Committees, please try and have any budget requests submitted to the office prior to our meeting.

MUSIC SUNDAY
We are preparing for lots of joyful noise to celebrate His praises with our favorite hymns for a Hymn Sing on Music Sunday, September 21st. We would like to know your favorite hymns so we can prepare a special worship service full of song and praise. Please contact Debbie Shealy with your favorite hymns.
POMARIA FOOD BANK
Pomaria Food Bank collection box is in the church breezeway and the narthex. Please consider donating non-perishable items when you are able. Thank you for your continued support.
W.P. Hendrix Scholarship: Bring your cans!
Please bring your cans to donate at the designated bins behind the Family Life Center. The recycled can donations are contributed to the WP Hendrix Memorial Scholarship fund. Your donations are greatly appreciated. The Lutheran Men in Mission thank you!
